About the Journal

The IIUM Engineering Journal, published tri-annually (January, May and September), is a double-blind peer-reviewed open-access journal of the Kulliyyah of Engineering, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).

The next issue will be published in  September 2025. 

We are indexed in:

Recently we have received many emails to verify the acceptance letter. The author must check the authenticity if the author did not submit any article through this site and email transmitted should be from the iium.edu.my domain.

The IIUM Engineering Journal publishes original research findings as regular papers, while review papers are accepted by invitation only. The Journal provides a platform for Engineers, Researchers, Academicians, and Practitioners who are highly motivated to contribute to the Engineering disciplines and Applied Sciences. It also welcomes contributions that address solutions to the developing world's specific challenges and address science and technology issues from an Islamic and multidisciplinary perspective.

A manuscript undergoes a double-blind review process.

Publication Charges for IIUM Engineering Journal:
 
A fee of  RM 1200.00 (through online overseas transfer) / USD 300 (overseas bank transaction) for outside Malaysia paper and RM 1000.00 for local author (Malaysia) paper through local bank transfer will be imposed as publication charges for each accepted manuscript. 
 

The publication fees cover the cost of language editing, translation of abstracts, copyediting, and other editorial expenses.

There is no charge during article submission. Publication fees will be charged once the paper is accepted.

IIUM Engineering Journal is not publishing any SPECIAL ISSUE/ Conference papers.  The request for a special issue/ conference paper will not be entertained.
