Information & Publication Charge

The IIUM Engineering Journal, published tri-annually (January, May and September), is a double-blind peer-reviewed open-access journal of the Kulliyah of Engineering, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).
 
Browse some articles of the journal to get a clear picture of the usual reviewing time. No fast-track reviewing process or acceptance.
 
IIUM Engineering Journal is not publishing any SPECIAL ISSUE/ Conference papers.  A request for a special issue/ conference paper will not be entertained.
 
No publishers or agents are allowed to communicate with the IIUMEJ journal.
No bulk submission by anyone is allowed.
No fee waiver or reduction.

Publication Charges for IIUM Engineering Journal:

A fee of  RM 1200.00 / USD 300 (overseas bank transaction) for international authors and RM 1000.00 for local authors (Malaysia) will be imposed as publication charges for each accepted manuscript.

The publication fees cover the cost of language editing, translation of abstracts, copyediting, and other editorial expenses.

There is no charge during article submission. Publication fees will be charged once the paper is accepted.
