Post-Publication Discussions and Corrections

The International Journal of Care Scholars (IJCS) is committed in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record. Therefore, the journal provides mechanisms for post-publication discussions, corrections, and dispute resolution. Readers, authors, and reviewers are encouraged to contact the editorial office to raise any errors, concerns, disputed findings or discuss issues that may affect the validity of a published article. All concerns will be carefully reviewed by the editorial team in line with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.

Where appropriate, the journal will issue a Correction (for minor errors that do not affect overall findings), a Retraction (for serious issues such as research misconduct, plagiarism or unreliable data), or an Expression of Concern (when an investigation is ongoing). Authors will be contacted to respond to comments or provide clarifications through a post-publication note or correspondence.

All post-publication discussions and corrections will be handled in a timely, transparent and impartial manner to ensure fairness and maintain the trust of the academic community. The process will be conducted with strict confidentiality, and all parties will be treated with respect. IJCS is committed to addressing concerns without prejudice and in accordance with the highest standards of academic integrity.
