All material submitted for publication is assumed to be submitted exclusively to the International Journal of Care Scholars (IJCS) unless the contrary is stated. Manuscript decisions are based on a double-blinded peer review process. The Editorial team retains the right to determine the style and if necessary, edit and shorten any material accepted for publication.

IJCS retain copyright to all the articles published in the journal. The author(s) or copyright owner(s) irrevocably grant(s) to any third party, in advance and in perpetuity, the right to use, reproduce or disseminate the research article in its entirety or in part, in any format or medium, provided that no substantive errors are introduced in the process, proper attribution of authorship and correct citation details are given, and that the bibliographic details are not changed. If the article is reproduced or disseminated in part, this must be clearly and unequivocally indicated.

As such, by choosing to published with IJCS, authors agree to the following conditions:

  • The journal permits the author to retain the copyright of the article without restrictions.
  • The journal allows the author(s) to keep publishing rights without restrictions.
  • Authors retain copyright licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial CC BY-NC 4.0, which allows to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material). 
  • Authors are allowed to share their work online (e.g., in repositories or on the website) and social media (e.g., Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc).
