Publications Ethics and Malpractice Statement

The International Journal of Care Scholars (IJCS) follows the guidelines from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the International Committee for Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) in addressing all aspects of publication ethics, especially on handling cases of research and publication misconduct. These guidelines are followed to ensure that editors, authors, and reviewers adhere to high ethical standards. The significance of publication ethics cannot be overstated, as it is crucial for elevating the quality of research worldwide.

All studies must uphold high ethical standards and comply with local regulations and standards when obtaining scrutiny and approval from relevant bodies. Authors should avoid misrepresenting research results, as this can undermine trust in the journal, the professionalism of scientific authorship, and the scientific community as a whole. Maintaining research integrity and presentation can be achieved by adhering to the principles of good scientific practice. The manuscript must not be submitted to more than one journal for simultaneous consideration.
