Editors Responsibility

          1. Fair evaluation

All manuscripts should be evaluate based on their intellectual content and merit, without bias related to the authors' race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political views. Therefore, providing equal opportunity for all submissions to be reviewed and considered, ensuring that personal biases do not influence the evaluation process. Editors need to use clear and objective criteria for evaluating the quality, originality, and significance of the research presented in the manuscript.

          2. Confidentiality

Ensure that all information related to submitted manuscripts is kept confidential and not disclosed to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, and editorial board members as appropriate. The editor will refrain from discussing or disclosing details about the manuscript under review, including its content, status, or any part of the review process, to individuals outside of those directly involved in the process. Additionally, the editor need to safeguard all submitted materials and correspondence to prevent unauthorized access or breaches of confidentiality. Thus, continue to protect the confidentiality of the manuscript and review process even after a decision has been made, whether the manuscript is accepted or rejected.

          3. Review of Manuscripts

The editors need to select reviewers who have the appropriate expertise and experience to provide a balanced and thorough evaluation of the manuscript. The review process need to be ensure that it is impartial and unbiased, and avoid assigning reviewers who may have conflicts of interest with the authors or the research topic. The editors also need to encourage reviewers to provide constructive and respectful feedback that will help authors improve their manuscript, in a timely manner, to provide prompt decisions and feedback to authors. The quality of review also need to be monitor by the editor to ensure that they are thorough, fair, and consistent with the journal’s standards. The editor need to address any ethical issues raised by reviewers, such as potential plagiarism or research misconduct, and take appropriate action if necessary.

          4. Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

The editors should disclose any personal or financial conflicts of interest that may affect their ability to handle the manuscript impartially. As such, editors need to recuse themselves from the editorial process for manuscripts where they have a conflict of interest, delegating the responsibility to another qualified editor. The editors also should make editorial decisions based solely on the manuscript's merit and relevance to the journal, free from the influence of external interests or relationships. Moreover, unpublished materials revealed in a submitted manuscript must not be utilized in an editor's own research without the explicit written permission of the author.

          5. Publication Decisions, Correction and Retraction

The editor must make publication decisions based on the manuscript's academic merit, originality, and relevance to the journal's scope based on the reviewer’s comments and recommendations. In addition, accepted manuscript should journal's standards for quality, integrity, and scientific rigor. If there are any corrections needed, the editors should work with authors to correct and issue correction notices to amend published content and ensure that readers are aware of the changes. Where in such cases a research misconduct happen, such as plagiarism, data fabrication, or unethical practices, the published manuscript will be retracted by following established guidelines and standards. The editors will ensure that retraction notices are clearly linked to the original articles, providing a clear context for the retraction.

          6. Transparency

The editors will provide transparency about the peer review process, including the selection of reviewers and the handling of reviewer comments. Any conflicts of interest that may affect editorial decisions will be disclosed and ensure that such conflicts are managed appropriately. The editors will adhere to and communicate the journal’s ethical guidelines and standards, ensuring that all parties understand and follow them. In addition, the editors will also provide comprehensive guidelines for reviewers and authors to ensure a clear understanding of the expectations and responsibilities in the submission and review process.
