About the Journal

IIUM Journal of Educational Studies (IJES) is a double-blind peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by the Kulliyyah of Education, International Islamic University Malaysia. The journal provides a platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and scholars to engage with interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary issues in education and to facilitate the exchange of research and perspectives across diverse educational contexts.

IJES publishes twice a year, in January and July, and welcomes high-quality empirical papers. The journal particularly encourages research that connects educational theory with real-world practices and addresses the interests and concerns of diverse stakeholders, including educators, policymakers, NGOs, and civil society. In addition to research articles, the journal features reviews, interviews, and special features on current issues in Islamic Education and other significant educational topics.

The journal is supported by an editorial team comprising the Editor-in-Chief, Managing Editor, editors, associate editors, and reviewers with expertise in various areas of education.
