About the Journal

 

The IIUM Journal of Educational Studies (IJES) is a double-blind peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by the Kulliyyah of Education, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). The journal provides an international academic platform for researchers, educators, practitioners, policymakers, and other stakeholders to disseminate and engage with scholarly work addressing contemporary issues in education.

IJES is published twice a year, with issues released on 31 January and 31 July. The journal welcomes high-quality empirical papers that contribute to the advancement of educational knowledge, theory, research, policy, and practice.

The journal encourages interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary scholarship and welcomes research that connects educational theory with real-world educational practices. Particular attention is given to studies that address emerging educational challenges, contribute to evidence-based educational practices, and promote meaningful academic, professional, and societal dialogue.

All published articles are freely and immediately accessible online without subscription or registration. IJES is committed to ensuring that scholarly research is widely accessible to researchers, educators, practitioners, policymakers, and the wider academic community.
