(The Islamic Features in the Plays (Masraḥiyyāt) of Ali Ahmad Bakathir: An Analytical Study)

Abstract
The research sought to study Ali Ahmed Bakathir’s plays, and this study focused on two plays, “Sirr al-Ḥākim bi Amrillah” (The secret of al-Hakim bi Amrillah) dan “Hārūt wa Mārūt” (Harut and Marut). This is due to the doctrinal (aqidah) issues, Islamic events, and inferences mentioned in them in the Qur’an and the Sunnah. The research relied in the analysis on three Islamic features, which are the integrity of belief, and the impact of the Qur’an and Sunnah on the plays of the writer. The impact of the sacred texts on the plays of the writer, and the writer’s portrayal of the woman and depicting the intimate relationship. The writer contradicts the Islamic approach Ali Ahmad’s plays are the most abundant Islamic plays based on the Islamic conception of the universe, man and life in the integrity of belief and the correctness of quoting and inference from the Qur’an and Sunnah. in addition to a set of important results in the subject of the research.
