الملخص

Abstract

The Islamic story telling has emerged in the modern world in various creative forms among other several art forms. Furthermore, there have appeared renowned writers of Islamic stories who engage this genre appreciating its remarkable values. They contribute to establish this genre through their particular narration of stories or critical writings. The Islamic story writing is a novel phenomenon which is likely to have –by God’s will- its own positive impacts to establish an Islamic perspective of literature in general, and of the story narration in particular, whatever is the amount of stories written and whatever the view of literary authorities towards them is. Moreover, the Islamic stories would probably become a significant witness of the perception of Islamic studies of literature among the other perceptions. Any learner of Arabic literature who bothers about the popular existence of Islamic literature and anyone who is concerned about its distinguishing principles, concepts, methods and distinctive results is supposed to contribute seriously to evaluate its products and highlight them. Such earnest contributions are meant to illuminate this original field of literature in front of the readership, to remove the overlays that have been fixed over this genre in order to hide up from the Islamic societies. Moreover, the genre of Islamic stories aims at the illustrating the personality of Islam and its civilizational aspect. Therefore, the Islamic stories is a unique genre of its kind with its own distinctive elements that must be followed. Another major obligatory feature of this genre is that it must appreciate certain values beyond a mere exercise of entertainment, since the stories, arguably, must be intuitive and instructive of values apart from a meagre individual narrative and enjoyment.

Abstrak

Cerita Islamik pada zaman moden tertonjol dalam imej kreatif yang berbeza-beza antara seni sastera yang pelbagai. Lanjutan daripada itu, munculnya penulis-penulis terkenal yang menulis genre ini dengan kebolehan yang jelas dan menyumbang kepada pengukuhan konsepnya melalui hasil penulisan naratif atau kritis mereka, baik apa sahaja tahap cerita Islamik yang mengikut cara ini mahupun pendapat komuniti sastera terhadapnya; ia adalah fenomena positif dan baik yang bakal membuahkan – dengan izin Allah – kesan yang baik kepada pengukuhan konsep Islamik terhadap seni cerita secara khususnya, dan sastera Islam secara keseluruhannya. Di samping itu, cerita Islamik merupakan bukti penting buat pelajar (yang mendalami) sisi pandang Islam dalam kesusasteraan di samping pandangan-pandangan lain dan pelajar sastera yang berminat dengan perkembangan sastera Islam dan berminat untuk melihat (bagaimana) sastera Islam berbeza dari pada prinsip, konsep, metode, tawaran dan karyanya. Usaha yang berterusan wajar dilakukan dalam menilai karya cerita Islamik, menonjolkannya dan menerangkan kelebihan-kelebihannya; untuk mencahayai lapangan sastera autentik ini buat para pembaca dan membuang tabir-tabir yang direka untuk menutupnya daripada komuniti muslim. Ini kerana cerita Islamik dihasilkan untuk menyerlahkan personaliti muslim dan gambaran ketamadunan Islam. Selain daripada itu, cerita Islamik merupakan seni sastera yang mempunyai unsur-unsur dan komponennya yang tersendiri yang mesti dipatuhi. Justeru, cerita Islamik mestilah dihasilkan lebih daripada sekadar untuk tujuan berhibur dan lebih tepat dikatakan bahawa cerita Islamik mesti bertujuan untuk memberi nasihat disamping menghibur, bukan hanya ekspresi diri semata-mata.
