This study’s aim is to know the effect of parents' preoccupation with social media on socializing children. Using the descriptive and analytical method. On a sample consisting of (180) persons, and one of the most important results that the researcher reached: Parents' preoccupation with social media means many negative effects that are harmful to the socialization of children according to the views of educators. Where the arithmetic mean for all of its axes came to the survey questionnaire with a value of: (4.2148) and with a high degree, and from this we conclude that the parents ’preoccupation with social means has many negative effects that are harmful to the socialization of children according to the opinions of educators, and that there are a number of not good behaviors of the parents’ preoccupation Social media, and the arithmetic mean for this axis in general came at (4.0296) and with a high degree, and there are motives that cause parents to be busy with social media, and the mean arithmetic for this axis in general came by (4.2213) and with a very high degree, and there are not good effects for parents' engagement with the means of communication On the socialization of children, the mean for this axis in general is (4.3935) and with a very high degree
