ينطر هذا البحث في مسألة الحكمة والتعليل في القرآن والسنة من حيث ارتباطها بالناحيتين العقدية والمقاصدية للإسلام لما لذلك من أهمية كبرى في استقامة العلم والعمل. ذلك أن الفهم السليم لتعاليم الكتاب وسنة النبي عليه السلام وما يشتملان عليه من أحكام متوقف على الإيمان بأن أفعال الله تعالى وأحكامه قائمة على الحكمة في ذاتها وجاءت على وفق فيه المصلحة لمخلوقاته بما ينفعهم ويدرأ الفاسد عنهم. وتتجلى أهمية ذلك بصورة خاصة في شأن ما يتصل بفهم مقاصد الشريعة العامة والخاصة في كلياتها وجزئياتها باعتبارها الغايات والأغراض التي وضعت الأحكام لتحقيقها توخيًا لما صلاح البشر في العاجل والآجل. ومن ثم فمسألة الحكمة والتعليل هي الأساس الذي ينهض عليه ويرتبط به ارتباطًا عضويًّا البناء العقدي والنظام التشريعي والنسق القيمي للإسلام.

Abstract

This article investigates the question of wisdom, causation and ratiocination in the Qur’an and Prophetic Tradition in terms of its relationship with the creedal dimension and goals of Islam, by virtue of its crucial importance for uprightness and correctness of both knowledge and action. This is because sound comprehension of the teachings and commands enshrined in the Qur’an and the Prophet’s Tradition depends on the belief that God’s acts and commands are wise in themselves and run according to what is beneficial to His creatures. The importance of this is manifested specifically in respect of the general and specific goals of the Shariah both in their universals and particulars, as being the purposes and ends intended by the legislation of the Shariah injunctions for the good of mankind in this world as well as in the Hereafter. Therefore, the doctrine of wisdom and causation is organically linked to Islam’s systems of belief, legislation and values.
