Abstract

A number of researchers have questioned the usefulness of islamizing Arabic linguistic studies due to the very specific nature of this discipline and its close association with Islam. Furthermore, it differs from other branches of the humanities that have been formulated in the West which then reached us embedded with concepts of secularism and atheism without scrutiny and screening. However, factors such as the deterioration of the situation Arabic language, its exclusion from in everyday life, its native speakers’ detachment from its use and their indifference towards it, the failure of Arabic language teaching programs in raising it to its rightful status, and even in realizing the minimum of its goals, all this leads us to reconsider the implementation of the notion of Islamization of Arabic linguistic studies, by virtue of the fact that linguistic studies are an integral part of social studies where Muslim intellectuals have agreed upon the dire need to review its contents, curriculum and methodology. Islamizing Arabic linguistic studies is, in fact, an attempt to reform the methodology and aims at renewing contemporary Arabic linguistic thought that has stagnated in many respects and has become unable to accommodate many of the modern age advancements and keep abreast with the latest epistemic developments. Therefore, this article aims to further illuminate the notion of Islamization of Arabic linguistic studies which is not yet clear in the minds of many researchers, and also to study ways to benefit from the curricula of the Islamization of knowledge in rooting linguistic concepts, principles and theories and to develop the syllabus for Arabic language studies and methods of teaching Arabic which commensurate with the needs of the modern era.

يشكك بعض الباحثين في جدوى أسلمة العلوم اللغوية العربية لخصوصية هذه العلوم وارتباطها بالاسلام، فهي تختلف عن العلوم الإنسانية الأخرى التي تمت صياغتها في الغرب، ثم وفدت إلينا ببعض المفاهيم العلمانية والإلحادية دون تمحيص وغربلة. بيد أن تدهور حال اللغة العربية، وابتعادها عن الحياة العامة، وابتعاد أصحابها عنها، وتنكرهم لها، وفشل برامج تعليم اللغة العربية في الارتقاء بالعربية إلى مكانتها الحقيقية، بل وفي تحقيق الحد الأدنى من أهدافها، كل ذلك يدفعنا نحو إعادة النظر في تبني مشروع أسلمة العلوم اللغوية العربية، باعتبار أن الدراسات اللغوية جزء لا يتجزأ من الدراسات الاجتماعية التي أجمع رجال الفكر الإسلامي على ضرورة إعادة النظر في محتوياتها ومقرراتها ومناهجها. إن مشروع أسلمة العلوم اللغوية العربية في حقيقة الأمر محاولة إصلاحية منهجية ترمي إلى تجديد الفكر اللغوي العربي الراهن الذي اكتنفه الجمود في كثير من جوانبه حتى أصبح عاجزًا عن استيعاب كثير من معطيات العصر ومواكبة التطورات المعرفية المستجدة. لذا فإن هذا البحث يأتي لإلقاء مزيد من الضوء على مشروع أسلمة العلوم اللغوية العربية الذي لم تتضح معالمه بعد في أذهان كثير من الباحثين، ودراسة سبل الإفادة من مناهج أسلمة المعرفة في تأصيل المفاهيم اللغوية ومبادئها ونظرياتها، وتطوير مناهج علوم العربية وأساليب تدريسها بما يتناسب مع احتياجات العصر الحديث.
