Abstract

Abstract

The research studies the concept of snare and crookedness, and their relationship to women in some of the Shariah texts and seeks to address this conceptual problem by correcting it to be consistent with the principles of the Quran and Sunnah in their treatment with women, respect, and care for them. The research came in three detectives: the first is about the legitimate texts and the meanings of their words. The second describes the woman as a snare, her snare, the seitan’s snare, and the man’s snare. The third describes women as being crooks and presents the hadiths related to that concept. The research relied on the descriptive as well as the analytical approach to arrive at results consistent with the norms and principles of legitimacy and their great values around humans. The research has reached conclusions, including that snare and crook concepts are not intended to degrade women and violate their dignity, but what it meant by woman’s snare is the snare they use trying to harm men. Also, the purpose and aim of crookedness is to treat women with kindness, care, and protection.
