ضوابط التعامل مع غريب الحديث النبوي <br> Criteria for Dealing with Odd Prophetic Traditions

يتناول هذا البحث إشكالية محددة هي: كيف اجتمع البيان في حديث النبي محمد r مع الغرابة في بعض ألفاظه؟ وكيف يمكن تذليل تلك الصعوبة في غريب الحديث النبوي ليتيسر فهم كلامه r، والاهتداء بهديه؟ ولموضوع غريب الحديث أهمية كبيرة حيث إنه مظنة سوء الفهم الأمر الذي يمكن أن يكون عقبة دون الانتفاع بمعانيه. ولئن كان العلماء السابقون قد بذلوا جهودًا كبيرة في تتبع غريب الحديث النبوي وجمعه وبيان معانيه، فإن ذلك لا يعني أن الباب قد أغلق أمام الباحثين في علم الحديث في العصر الحاضر ليكون لهم أيضًا نصيبهم في فهم ما جاء من غريب في حديث الرسول r. وقد جرى التركيز في هذا البحث على استخلاص ضوابط للتعامل مع الغريب في الحديث النبوي، فاقتضى ذلك أمرين: الأول هو النظر في تاريخ تناول العلماء لغريب الحديث النبوي وإبراز الجوانب التي كانت محل اهتمامهم بصورة أساسية. أما الأمر الثاني فهو النظر في الضوابط التي ينبغي أن تحكم تعاملنا مع غريب الحديث النبوي استخلاصًا وتطويرًا لها بناءً على جهود العلماء السابقين ومما أدانا إليه التأمل والبحث في الموضوع.

Abstract

The present article addresses the following issue: How eloquence would exist together with oddity in the Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) Traditions? How can this difficulty be overcome so that his speech would be properly understood and guidance be gained from it? Oddity in Prophetic Traditions raises a serious issue by virtue of the fact that it may lead to misunderstanding them, and thus it constitutes an obstacle to benefiting from their meaning and import. Although previous scholars dedicated great efforts to identify and collect odd cases in Prophetic Traditions and clarify their meanings, the door is still open to contemporary researchers and students of the science of ×adÊth to contribute their share in comprehending this category of Traditions. Thus, this article focuses on deriving criteria for dealing with odd Prophetic Traditions. This task has necessitated two things: Firstly, to look into the history of previous scholars’ study of odd Traditions in order to highlight those aspects that were of special interest to them and on which they focused. Secondly, to reflect on the criteria that should guide our study and understanding of odd Traditions; hence an attempt has been made to develop and formulate such criteria by building on those scholars’ insights.

Abstrak

Artikel ini menangani isu berikut: Bagaimana kefasihan boleh ada bersama- keganjilan dalam hadith-hadith Nabi Muhammad (s.a.w.)? Bagaimana masalah ini dapat diatasi supaya ucapan tersebut difahami dengan betul dan pengajaran diperolehi darinya? Keganjilan dalam hadis menimbulkan isu yang serius kerana fakta menunjukkan bahawa ia membawa kepada salah faham. Ia juga merupakan halangan untuk mendapat manfaat daripada makna dan maksudnya. Walaupun ulama sebelum ini sudah berusaha secara baik untuk mengenal pasti dan mengumpul kes-kes hadis gharib ini dan sudah menjelaskan maknanya, pintu masih terbuka kepada penyelidik kontemporari dan pelajar ilmu hadith untuk  menyumbang tenaga dalam usaha memahami kategori hadith ini. Artikel ini memberi tumpuan kepada mencari kriteria untuk berurusan dengan hadis gharib. Ia melibat dua perkara: Pertama, untuk melihat sejarah kajian ulama sebelumnya tentang hadith gharib untuk menyerlahkan aspek-aspek yang menjadi minat khusus dan tumpuan kajian mereka. Kedua, untuk memikirkan kriteria yang perlu dalam memandu kajian dan pemahaman tentang hadith gharib. Ia merupakan  cubaan untuk membangunkan dan merumuskan kriteria berasaskan pandangan para ulama tersebut.
