Abstract

Discourse or speech linguistics is an important field of inquiry in contemporary linguistics. Thanks to its analytical methods aimed at uncovering the high structure of discourse as well as its formal, intellectual and persuasive components, especially in literary texts, it provides a very efficient tool for dealing with different kinds of texts in terms of structure, function, and semantics. Based on this important aspect of discourse linguistics, this article is an applied study aimed to unravel the features of the persuasive structure and its linguistic functions in at Ghazali’s poetry. This is done in order to discover the intents of poetic discourse of this mystic thinker and philosopher. This is achieved through an analysis of the different forms of expression employed by him, such as description, narrative, dialogue and  argumentation, whereby structures and intents are intertwined in a persuasive act advocating an intellectual vision, a worldview and an existential philosophy expressed in a highly complex and sophisticated language.

تعدّ لسانيات الخطاب أو النص اليوم من أهم مجالات البحث اللساني المعاصر وأكثرها نجاعة في مقاربة أنواع النصوص من حيث البنية والوظيفة والتداول، بما تقدمه من آليات تحليلية تهدف إلى الكشف عن الأبنية العليا للخطاب بصورة عامة، ومكوناته الشكلية والفكرية والإقناعية، وخاصة في مجال النص الأدبي. في ضوء هذا البعد المهم للسانيات النص، للنصوص تحاول هذه الدراسة التطبيقية استكشاف خصائص البنية الإقناعية ووظائفها اللسانية في شعر الغزالي، وذلك من أجل الوقوف عند مقاصد الخطاب الشعري الأساسية عند المفكر والفيلوسوف الصوفي، من خلال الصور التعبيرية المختلفة التي يستخدمها، مثل الوصف والسرد والحوار والجدل، فيغدو النص بتداخل هذه البنى والأغراض فعلاً إقناعياًّ دالاًّ ينافح عن رؤية فكرية وفلسفة وجودية معبّر عنها بلغة صقيلة وعالية التعقيد.
