Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  • Turnitin or any similarity check result should not excess 20% (only on content text of the manuscript - excluding references and title)

Author Guidelines

The first page of the article only displays the main title and the contact information of all co-authors. Please provide ALL authors' affiliations including name (in capital letters), address, telephone, fax and email. Please identify the contact person.

Requirements and limiting JAPCM manuscript by words.
a. Review paper (with analysis) - 5000 words
b. Research Papers - 8000 words
c. Abstract - maximum 300 words

Submission
The author must submit 1 MANUSCRIPT FILE in DOCX format using the JAPCM template.

No additional file is required unless requested.


The manuscripts are also will be based on categories which exclude references.

Review Process for the Journal of Architecture, Planning, and Construction Management (JAPCM)

  1. Submission: Authors submit their manuscripts to JAPCM through the online submission system.
  2. Initial Screening: The editorial team conducts an initial screening to ensure that the submission adheres to the journal's scope and formatting guidelines. Manuscripts not meeting these criteria may be returned to authors for revision or rejected.
  3. Plagiarism Check: Submissions undergo a thorough plagiarism check to ensure originality. Manuscripts found to contain significant plagiarism will be rejected.
  4. Assignment of Reviewers: Upon passing the initial screening and plagiarism check, manuscripts are assigned to qualified reviewers with expertise in relevant fields. JAPCM follows a double-blind review process to ensure impartial evaluation.
  5. Review Process: Reviewers assess the manuscript's quality, originality, methodology, significance, and adherence to ethical standards. They provide detailed feedback and recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection.
  6. Editorial Decision: Based on reviewers' feedback, the editor-in-chief makes a decision regarding the manuscript. Authors are notified of the decision, which may include acceptance, minor/major revisions, or rejection.
  7. Revision (if necessary): If revisions are required, authors are given a specified timeframe to address reviewers' comments and make necessary revisions to the manuscript.
  8. Final Decision: Revised manuscripts undergo a second round of review to ensure that reviewers' concerns have been adequately addressed. The editor-in-chief makes the final decision based on the revised manuscript and reviewers' feedback.
  9. Publication: Accepted manuscripts are published in the upcoming issue of JAPCM. Authors retain copyright of their work, and there are no publication charges.
  10. Indexing and Archiving: Published articles are indexed by Google Scholar, Open Access, and MyJurnal, ensuring widespread visibility and accessibility.
  11. Privacy Statement: Personal information provided during the submission process is strictly confidential and used solely for journal-related purposes.
  12. Ethical Standards: Authors are required to adhere to ethical standards, including originality of work, copyright compliance, and avoidance of defamation. Any breaches of ethical standards may result in retraction of published manuscripts and reporting to relevant authorities.
  13. Disclaimer: The views expressed in published articles are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect those of the publisher, editors, or reviewers. The publisher does not endorse any products or claims mentioned in the articles.
