Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

Halalsphere employs a thorough double-blind peer-review process to maintain the highest standards of intellectual work and ensure unbiased evaluation of submitted manuscripts.

  1. Manuscript Submission:

Authors submit their research manuscripts to Halalsphere through the online submission system.

  1. Manuscript Check and Selection:

Upon submission, the Managing Editor and the editorial team perform an initial check and selection process. This involves a plagiarism check using Turnitin to ensure the originality of the submitted work.

  1. Manuscript Reviewing Process:

The Managing Editor assigns a section editor for each manuscript, who will assign at least two experts in the relevant field to review the manuscript. The peer-review process is conducted as a double-blind review to maintain anonymity between reviewers and authors.

  1. Notification of Manuscript Acceptance, Revision, or Rejection:

Based on the feedback received from the reviewers, the Section Editor communicates the manuscript's status to the author. This communication is conducted while safeguarding the anonymity of the reviewers.

  1. Paper Revision:

If revisions are requested, the author is given the opportunity to revise the manuscript based on the comments and suggestions provided by the reviewers. Authors are encouraged to submit a response letter addressing each comment and explaining the changes made.

  1. Revision Submission based on Reviewer Suggestion:

After making the necessary revisions, the author resubmits the revised manuscript through the online submission system.

  1. Notification for Acceptance:

If the reviewers are satisfied with the revisions, the Section Editor notifies the author of the manuscript's acceptance for publication.

  1. Galley Proof and Publishing Process:

The accepted manuscript undergoes the galley proof stage, where formatting, copyediting, and proofreading are performed. After finalizing these processes, the paper is published in accordance with Halalsphere's publication format.
