Peer Review Policy
The journal adheres to a double-blind peer review system, ensuring that both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the evaluation process. This approach is intended to maintain impartiality and reduce potential biases during manuscript assessment.
Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening. The editorial team examines the submission to ensure that it aligns with the journal’s scope, adheres to formatting and ethical guidelines, and is free from issues such as plagiarism. Manuscripts that do not meet these basic requirements may be rejected at this stage without being sent for peer review.
For submissions that pass the initial screening, the editorial team ensures that the manuscript is properly anonymized by removing any identifying author information. The anonymized manuscript is then assigned to qualified reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.
The journal maintains a policy of involving at least three reviewers per issue, although not necessarily three per article. During the review stage, reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on several criteria, including:
- Originality and significance of the research
- Soundness of methodology
- Clarity of presentation
- Coherence of argumentation
- Relevance and accuracy of references
Based on their evaluation, reviewers submit recommendations to either accept the manuscript, request minor or major revisions, or reject it outright. After peer review reports are submitted, the editorial team reviews all feedback and makes a final editorial decision.
If revisions are required, authors are invited to respond to the reviewers’ comments and submit a revised version of their manuscript. In some cases, the revised submission may be returned to the original reviewers for re-evaluation; in others, the editorial board may make the final decision independently.
Once a manuscript is accepted, it proceeds to the production stage, which includes copyediting, formatting, and proofreading. Authors may be given the opportunity to review proofs before final publication.
The journal publishes articles on an open access basis, making all content freely available to the public. Although timelines may vary depending on reviewer availability and the extent of revisions, the average turnaround time from submission to publication is typically estimated to be between two to six months.
