Abstract

Assessment of ocular health is an essential part of the primary eye examination. The evolvement of optical imaging system such as optical coherence tomography improves the capabilities of optometrist in the detection of eye diseases and minimizes false positive referrals. Optical coherence tomographer is a non-invasive instrument and easily operated. Should OCT imaging be used during optometric examination? Some cases detected during routine optometric examination with the help of OCT are shared in this presentation.
