Al-Shajarah receives all manuscripts exclusively through its OJS submission system. Submissions that do not follow the journal’s Author Guidelines, style, or formatting requirements will not be processed and will be declined automatically.
Reminder to Authors
Manuscripts must be submitted directly by the author through the journal’s online system. Submissions by email, through intermediaries, or on behalf of third parties will not be entertained.
General Notice
As a Scopus- and WoS-indexed journal, Al-Shajarah publishes research on Islamic thought, civilisation, science, the Malay world, and contemporary intellectual issues.
To ensure a fair and efficient process, authors are expected to carefully observe the Author Guidelines before submission. Papers not prepared according to these requirements will be returned without review.
The journal is published twice a year. Because of the large number of manuscripts received, the minimum response time is one year. Authors are encouraged to take this into consideration when submitting their work.
