Abstract

The legislative objective is one of the most important purposes in the Holy Qur’an, and knowledge of it increases the faith of the taxpayer and his conviction in the legal rulings. There are many scholars who have taken care of interpreting the verses of rulings in the light of these purposes in their interpretations and writings. Among the contemporary interpretations that took care of this aspect is the mediating interpretation of the Noble Qur’an by Sheikh Al-Tantawi, may God have mercy on him, whose author took care of the jurisprudential and legislative aspects, and was distinguished by the ease of expression, good presentation, and his combination of the maxim and reasonable interpretation. Likewise, the Imam follows in his approach, quoting from the relied upon commentators their reputable sayings, away from abnormal and weak expressions, while maintaining objectivity in his style, and defending the belief of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah while responding to the innovator.

The researcher in these papers follows the approach of the Imam, may God have mercy on him, in his extrapolation of the verses of the rulings, and knowing his reference to the deduced jurisprudential issues and how the author sees in a number of axes: Disagreement when the issues presented differ, its fairness when giving preference, its care for the Prophet’s Sunnah and the sayings of the Companions, followers and scholars with an explanation of their evidence.
