An inquiry is a sort of student-centered learning that uses questions in a dialog format with the instructor and peers to examine and enhance student’s understanding in a subject matter. The purpose of the questions and answers session is to nurture constructive critical and analytical skills, progressing from a low-level to a higher-level question while encouraging deep thinking. This study investigated interrogative passages in the Qur`ān, focusing on hamzah istifhām in Surah al-Baqarah. An inquiry learning model will be presented from the question verses pattern extracted from the Qur`ān.
