About the Journal

Al-Itqān: Journal of Islamic Sciences and Comparative Studies is an academic, peer-reviewed, and international bilingual (Arabic and English) online and free-accessed journal, published bi-annually (February and August) by the Department of Usul al-Din and Comparative Religion, AbdulHamid AbuSulayman Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences, International Islamic University of Malaysia. It publishes articles, research reports, case studies, and book reviews on diverse topics related to issues, problems, and developments in Islamic Thought, Comparative Religion, Philosophy, Social Sciences, the Arts and Humanities.

OBJECTIVES AND SCOPES:

Al-Itqān's objectives are to provide a channel for academic staff as researchers and practitioners to share and discuss ideas, theories, views, and research results on issues in Islamic Thought, Comparative Religion, Philosophy, Social Sciences, and the Arts and Humanities. It presents the best platform for researchers, academics, and young scholars to share their original findings, new ideas, and expertise in the field leading towards integrating Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences. The journal also provides readers with a proper understanding of the issues discussed. Its scope covers articles, case studies, and book reviews on diverse topics related to issues, problems, and developments in Islamic Thought, Comparative Religion, Philosophy, Social Sciences, and the Arts and Humanities.
