About the Journal

Al-Itqān: Journal of Islamic Sciences and Comparative Studies is an academic, peer-reviewed, and international bilingual (Arabic and English) online and free-accessed journal, published biannually (April and October) by the Department of Usul al-Din and Comparative Religion and Philosophy, AbdulHamid AbuSulayman Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences, International Islamic University of Malaysia.

Al-Itqān publishes original articles, research reports, case studies, and book reviews on diverse topics related to issues, problems, and developments in Islamic Thought, Comparative Religion, Philosophy, Social Sciences, the Arts and Humanities, and other related areas.

OBJECTIVES 

Al-Itqān aims to provide a channel for academic staff as researchers and practitioners to share and discuss ideas, theories, views, and research results on issues in Islamic Thought, Comparative Religion, Philosophy, Social Sciences, and the Arts and Humanities. The journal also provides readers with a proper understanding of the issues discussed.

SCOPE OF JOURNAL

Al-Itqān covers articles, case studies, and book reviews on diverse topics related to issues, problems, and developments in Islamic Thought, Comparative Religion, Philosophy, Social Sciences, the Arts, and Humanities.

PUBLICATION

The Journal will be published twice a year, in April and October, consisting of 5 to 12 articles per issue.

LANGUAGE

Al-Itqan: Journal of Islamic Sciences and Comparative Studies is a bilingual Journal published in Arabic and English. 

PUBLICATION FEES

Publication fees of RM 400.00 (approx USD 100.00) will be charged upon the acceptance of the article for publication.
