About the Journal
There is no conflict between different fields of study in Islamic civilizations, be it natural or social sciences, as all are based on TE as well as there is no dichotomy between science and religion as practiced in secular Western scholarship. Hence, TE as the anchoring concept enables these different fields to integrate into scientific research. Therefore, there is a vital need for IIUM to establish such a journal as TE is the pivotal theoretical framework for any scholarly discourse at the University. As a result, all research efforts will become ibadah for the sake of Allah. In pursuit of such sacred knowledge endeavours, JTEIK will become the platform for the intellectual discourse surrounding TE and knowledge integration that has become the ethos of the University.
- OBJECTIVES
The objectives of JTEIK are to:
- Provide the platform for publication of double-blind peer-reviewed articles in TE and integration of knowledge.
- To promote TE and integration of knowledge as the intellectual discourse of the University - among academics, administrators and students.
- To become a reference for other academics throughout the world on the subject matter
