Author Biography

Fayeza Hasanat, University of Central Florida, USA

Originally from Bangladesh, Fayeza Hasanat completed her Ph.D. from the University of Florida in 2005, writing her dissertation on the literature of the British Empire, with special focus on Muslim women writers. Her book, entitled Recasting Muslim Women: A Translation of Nawab Faizunnesa’s Rup Jalal is forthcoming from Brill Publishers. Her short stories and articles have been published in various literary journals in the U.S. She teaches literature in the Department of English, University of Central Florida, USA.
