أبعاد الخطاب الاجتماعي المعاضد للمرأة في رواية "استقالة ملك الموت" أنموذجاً/ The social discourse dimensions supportive of women in the novel Istiqālah malak al-maut (The resignation of the death angel) as a case study

لم يكن غريباً أن تأخذ الخطابات الاجتماعية المعاضدة أو المساندة للمرأة في فن الرواية العربية أبعاداً واسعة على لسان شخوصها البشرية، من أجل الدفاع عن حقوقها أو رد الظلم عنها في كافة المجالات الحياتية، ولكن الغريب عندما نجد أن هذه الخطابات المعاضدة قد وظفت على لسان ملك الموت وتحمله الأعباء من أجل الدفاع عن المرأة وعن قضاياها المتعددة؛ لذا فإن الدراسة سوف تلقي الضوء حول أبعاد خطابات ملك الموت الاجتماعية ودوره في الدفاع عن حقوق المرأة المسلوبة، في رواية  استقالة ملك الموت لصفاء النجار، وسوف تتبع الدراسة المنهجين التحليلي والنقدي. توصلت الدراسة إلى نتائج مهمة، وهي: جاءت خطابات ملك الموت معاضدة للمرأة، لا خطابات معارضة، وفي هذا توكيد للمساندة، وتقرير لحال المرأة المأساوية، وساعدت خطابات ملك الموت على البوح عن هموم المرأة والكشف عن مشاكلها بكل جرأة، وأن تحرر المرأة من بعض القضايا الاجتماعية وخروجها عن العادة والمألوف من الدين والعادات والتقاليد، ورسم الصور الانحلالية الجنسية، كالعلاقة الغرامية الحميمة التي وقعت بين يحيى وصفية، كان تجسيداً للنمط الاجتماعي الغربي الذي يتنافى مع المجتمع العربي والإسلامي.

Abstract

Social discourses in favour of women found in Arabic novels are not uncommon to accommodate extensive dimensions in their human characters. The purpose is to defend their rights, repel injustices against them in all the aspects of life. It is indeed a rare encounter to find such discourses are spoken by the angel of death and his forbearance to defend women and their plights. The study will highlight on the dimensions of the social dimension in the discourses of the angel of death in defending the rights of discriminated women in the novel: istiqālah malak al-maut by Safā’ al-Najjār. The study uses the analytical and critical approaches. Among the most important findings of the study: the discourses of the angel of death are in favour of women and not against them to accentuate support and affirmation to the tragic situation of some women. The discourses help to articulate the plights and problem suffered by them in a bold manner. The issue of women emancipation in some social aspects and their revolt against the customary practices in religion and society, the painting of decaying sexual issue such as the relationship between Yahya and Safiyyah is a representation of the western social  code that is against the Arab Islamic society.

Abstrak

Wacana sosial yang prihatin kepada wanita yang terdapat dalam novel Arab bukanlah sesuatu yang luar biasa kerana sering diberikan dimensi yang luas dalam watak cerita mereka. Tujuannya adalah untuk mempertahankan hak wanita, menghindarkan ketidakadilan terhadap mereka dalam semua aspek kehidupan. Memang sesuatu yang jarang apabila wacana seperti ini diucapkan oleh malaikat maut dan ketabahannya untuk membela nasib wanita. Kajian ini akan mengupas dimensi sosial dalam wacana malaikat maut dalam mempertahankan hak wanita yang didiskriminasi dalam novel: istiqālah malak al-maut oleh Safā ’al-Najjār. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan analitik dan kritikal. Antara penemuan yang paling penting dalam kajian ini ialah: wacana malaikat maut menunjukkan sikap prihatin kepada wanita dan bukan menafikannya. Ini adalah untuk menyokong dan menekankan situasi tragis yang dialami sesetengah wanita. Wacana-wacana itu membantu untuk mengungkap penderitaan dan masalah yang dialami oleh mereka dengan berani. Isu emansipasi wanita dalam beberapa aspek sosial dan pemberontakan mereka terhadap amalan adat dalam agama dan masyarakat, juga lakaran masalah seksual yang meruncing seperti hubungan antara Yahya dan Safiyyah adalah merupakan representasi dari amalan sosial barat yang bertentangan dengan masyarakat Islam Arab.
