Jasmin Omercic (PhD Candidate, Dept. of Economcis, Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences - KENMS, International Islamic Unviersity Malaysia - IIUM)

My name is Jasmin Omercic, from Devetak, canton Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Born on 1st December 1990 in Tuzla, I pursued education in Devetak and Puracic for 8 years and finished my 4 years Behram Bey Madrasah (Islamic school gymnasium) education in Tuzla with excellent results and pursued further education in far Malaysia.

I graduated from Political Sceince with specialization in International Relations and Public Administration at Department of Political Science, Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences (KIRKHS), IIUM with a Minor in Economcs, Department of Economics, KENMS, IIUM. Afterwards, I pursued a masters degree in Economics, Department of Economics, KENMS, IIUM with specialization in Islamic economics and economic development. 

Currently, I am a PhD Candidate of Economics, at Department of Economics, Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences (KENMS), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). My particular interest in Islamic economics, normative economics, economic development Islamic economic thought/philosophy, general economic thought/philosophy, political economy, Islamic political economy, religious economics and economcis of religion.
