Listening to the Qur’anic recitation is known to have therapeutic effects even on individuals who do not understand the meaning of the verses. The number of research done in relation to sound healing has increased. Sound healing has long been used in dealing with various health problems. It is believed that not brain, auditory cells and other cells in the human body are shown to react to sound. Although there have beenresearches on sound healing and the positive results in humans, there is little to suggest the effect of Qur’anic recitation on cell culture. The paper also adopted a cautious approach to associating Qur’anic recitation to sound and sound healing. Studies to examine the effects of Qur’anic recitation on cell cultures are therefore highly suggested.
}, number={1}, journal={Revelation and Science}, author={Hashim, Rosyafirah and Shaban, Munirah and Zainuddin, Zainul Ibrahim}, year={2017}, month={Jun.} }
