About the Journal

The International Journal on Perceptive and Cognitive Computing (IJPCC) (e-ISSN: 2462-229X) is an open access peer-reviewed international journal published by IIUM Press, International Islamic University Malaysia. It was previously a journal that published biannually (June and December) until 2021, after which it publish biannual issues (in January and July) starting in 2022.  In 2021, it published a single issue due to the transition from publishing June and December to January and July. It is a double-blind peer-reviewed open-access, cross-disciplinary and international archive journal aimed at disseminating results of research on the principles and theories explaining how and why computers perceive the environment and the users, on how computers simulate human's thought process, perception, learning, memory, language, motor control, problem-solving and mental organization, on what and how human natural interfaces are used to interact with computers to extend what humans or computers could do, and on the design, implementation, and evaluation of systems that consider perceptual and/or cognitive among the factors that influence their conception. Surveys of existing works are considered for publications when they propose a new perspective on this domain.
